japanesse cuisine

today me and my partner kitchen made japanesse food. because the theme is asian food. this is my first time attempt and i kinda like it. sebab macam senang and the ingredients tak bape nak pelik macam chinesse food. i think i nak tukar profession la. hihi. so let's see one by one what we've done :)

this is miso soup with tofu and salmon fish. this is superb! and healthy. sebab tak masuk kan garam pun dalam ni. sangat sedap!

this is one of my favourite sushi. california roll. chef really love this. and he is impressed with our team. yay! sedappppp

for the main course, we did oyakodon. sushi rice with egg, chicken cooked with mirin. fantastic! love it!

and for the dessert, my partner wanted to make mochi but we couldn't get the filling since we buy the ingredient very the last minute. so she made dango! its like mochi also, but without filling and served with sauce :)

notice my california got mayonnaise on it? guess what, i made that home made mayonnaise instead of using inside the bottle! sangat mudah dan cepat ye buat home made mayonnaise!!! 1 egg yok and a bit of mustard then whisk it. then slowly pour in the oil. then add lemon juice and season it with salt and pepper. and here it is!!! chef loves it too!!

fyi, this is my second progress test. the previous test we made malaysian style. if i got time, i'll put it here. till then, babayi *gaya baby airel say goodbye :)

simple and lazy vanilla cheese cake with whip cream

hello people! today i made cheesecake. nyum nyum nyum. at first i was thinking nak buat new york cheese cake but buddy bear wants me to make oreo cheesecake. but then, i only have a little of oreo cookie inside the cabinet. so i combine oreo and marie cookie as the base. and the cheese was super simple. and sangat sangat sesuai for those yang pemalas macam aku. haha. no egg no nothing. just cream cheese, sugar, vanilla essence and whip cream for extra creamy taste. hihi. but, something happen when i put the vanilla. terlebih letak pulak. so bau vanilla sangat la kuat! so i thought it wont turn out well. when buddy bear makan, i was worried. takut dia tak suka. or tak sedap. but he said okay la. overall okay. mama and adik loves it too! so there's a reason why i put the name "simple and lazy vanilla cheesecake". first sebab cheese tu macam bersepah. haha. vanilla sebab da bau vanilla kuat sgt. duhhhh. tapi base rase oreo. haha.

my simple home made burger :)

today i made home made burger.

wonderful! its my second attempt and mama loves it.

and i put something on top to make it more yummy and errr american i guess??

haha. its onion ring!! woot woot. superb habis! yumehhhh.

but its kinda simple sebab lapar gila punya pasal. and it will be awesome if ade mustard tapi sayang, no mustard. grrr

my third day

hi hi!!

today is my third day in college.

how's college? i can only say i love my practical class.

i hate theory class. so i can't wait for my uniform :D

i will get my uniform in 2weeks time. ahhhhhhh can't wait!!

for western cuisine assignment next week we are going to do spaghetti. meatballs. nyum nyum. cuba teka idea siapa? haha. that one is just for fun. our chef said he don't want us to be bored so we need to do some activity. so, i'm looking forward to that fun activity :)

our batch, which is this intake, we only have 10 students. 1 Korean, 1 Indonesian, 1Iran and the rest is Malaysian. and i'm the only malay girl in the college (i guess). it's a little bit sad but i don't mind being the only flower in our batch. for the seniors, i think 5 of them is malay. so yeah. bantai saja lah kan. so far, i don't have any problem YET. so hopefully i'll be fine for this 2years course.

in international cuisine class, our seniors made Caesar Salad. i didn't try. tummy ache yaww. so not cool T__T

for pastry student, they made Cream Caramel and Fruit Tart. and guess what? i ate all of it!! bwahaha. yummy is the word! thanks seniors!!! please do more! cause i'm gonna eat more from you guys. hahaha.
